They make a sand image of the Goddess, worship her daily with flowers, incense, and devotion on the sandy banks of the Yamunā River.  Completion of the Vow: After observing this vow for a month, they bathe in the river early in the morning. They leave their garments placed neatly on the riverbank before entering the water. Krishna’s Appearance: Krishna, moved by compassion for the Gopikas’ unwavering love and ascetic effort, arrives at the riverbank. Seeing them immersed in water with bowed heads in modest shame, he playfully gathers up all the clothes left on the shore. He then climbs up a tree branch with the garments. The waters flowed crystal clear. A gentle breeze moved through the trees, carrying the fragrance of blooming lotuses.  Krishna , accompanied by Balarama , the cows, and the cowherd boys, entered this serene forest, took shelter under a beautiful tree, stood cross-legged and started to play his flute.  The Music That Stilled the World The peacocks began to dance in ecstasy, spreading their vibrant feathers as though responding to thunderclouds. To them, the music was like the gentle rumble of rain-bearing clouds. The deer stopped in their tracks, gazing toward Krishna with wide, loving eyes. As they approached the village, the cows, unobserved, began to wander off on their own, entering deeper into the forest, attracted by fresh grass. The goats, cows and buffaloes travelled from one forest to another and entered the forest known as Aisheeka. This forest was full of green grass, and therefore they were drawn in; but when they entered, they saw a forest fire, and they began to cry. On the other side, Balarama and Krishna, along with their friends, could not find their animals, and they became very resentful. They began to trace the cows by following their footprints, as well as the path of eaten grass. All of the boys were fearing that their very means of livelihood, the cows, were now lost.
